Why is it that every September, October and November seem to fly by so quickly? I just can't hardly believe that Christmas will be here in just a few short weeks. It's funny how the kids think that is so far away and we think it's way too soon. It's such a busy time of year with decorating, baking, Christmas parties and birthday parties. It's no wonder that the weeks flew by so quickly.
Even though the boxes that hold the decorations are still all out in the corners of my house, the tree and other decorations are up. A really bad cold has been spreading it's way through our home and making decorating a little more challenging, but we did it. The kids love the tree and Alissa wants the lights on all the time. As soon as she wakes up in the morning she wants them on.
The kids ornaments were the firsts on the tree. The each have ornaments of their own and are so excited to see them again each year. We also let them pick out their new ornaments for this year. I love to see what they end up picking. It usually ends up being a good way to remember what they were into during the year.
